Questions people ask before they order
Who am I actually buying from?
From us — Terpene Republic, an Australian business in Perth (Hubert Gourmet Pty Ltd, ABN 40 627 453 507). Cannanda lists Hubert Gourmet as its wholesale distributor for Australia. We hold the stock and post every order ourselves.
Are these the real Cannanda products?
Yes. Every item is made by Cannanda in Canada and imported by us. Several other Australian and New Zealand brands sell something called "CB2 oil"; they are not Cannanda's. Look for the Cannanda CB2 mark on the label.
Is there any CBD or THC in it?
CB2 Wellness and CB2 Cool: No THC, No CBD. They are made without hemp seed oil. The hemp seed oils and softgels have no added THC or CBD; they carry only the natural trace of both found in hemp seed. Ask us for the lab results we have on file.
Do I need a prescription?
No. Hemp seed oil is a food in Australia and New Zealand, and beta-caryophyllene is a food ingredient. You order it like any other product.
Will it show up on a drug test?
The hemp seed oils and softgels have no added THC, but they carry the natural trace of THC found in hemp seed. We can't promise any test result, so if you are tested at work, in sport or on the road, check with your employer or testing body before you use the oils or softgels. CB2 Wellness and CB2 Cool are made without hemp seed oil: No THC, No CBD.
Is this the same as CBD oil?
No. CB2 oil is hemp seed oil with a beta-caryophyllene terpene blend; it is not a CBD product. CBD oil is a cannabis extract, sold here as a medicine (on prescription, or from a pharmacist at low doses). If you have been prescribed CBD, keep taking what your doctor prescribed.
Which one should I start with?
Most people start with the CB2 Hemp Seed Oil, one teaspoon a day over food. If you would rather not taste hemp seed oil, the softgels are the same oil in a capsule. CB2 Wellness is the concentrated terpene blend for aromatherapy or diluted on the skin, not a food.
How do I take the hemp seed oil?
One teaspoon (5 mL) a day, straight or over food — salad, yoghurt, a smoothie. Do not cook with it. Keep it in the fridge once opened.
Can I give it to my dog?
No. The products we sell are made for people, not pets, and CB2 Cool in particular is not for animals.
Do you ship to New Zealand?
Not yet. We are starting with Australia. New Zealand follows: register your interest on our New Zealand page and we will tell you the day it opens.
How long does delivery take?
We usually post within 2 working days from Perth, by Australia Post with tracking. Then: Metro Perth 1–3 business days, other capitals 3–6, regional 4–8. Shipping is free on orders of A$150 or more.
Can I see the lab results?
Yes. Email us at info@terpenerepublic.com.au and we will send the lab results we have on file, and tell you which batch they cover.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes — pharmacies, health-food stores and practitioners can apply on the wholesale page.
